Outside Sales Manager | Broadband | OmniCable
Currently, we are looking for a tenacious Outside Sales Manager that thrives in a rapid Outside Sales environment to join OmniCable's Sales Team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As an Outside Sales Manager, you will sell our full range of Outside Plant/Broadband/Telecom products. The Outside Sales Manager will be responsible for all business opportunities through traditional Broadband/OSP/Broadband Distributors. This position also supports the legacy OmniCable sales teams with OSP opportunities through traditional electrical distributors. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer and revenue growth objectives. You must be energetic and comfortable building business relationships in-person and at all levels of an organization. As such, you must be comfortable covering a large sales prospect area and maintaining consistently positive results.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify customer potential in the broadband/OSP distributor marketplace.
• Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Maintain and expand your customer base within your assigned Outside Territory - up to 70% travel.
• Partner with Account Managers, Territory Managers, Key Account Manager, National Account Managers on the electrical side when appropriate, to help drive growth through those channels.
• Interact with internal personnel to resolve customer complaints and questions
• Provide in-service educational seminars on Broadband products and applications for the sales staff of all distributors and their customers.
• Provide insight into sales contracts and pricing with customers; review existing contracts to identify any expirations
• Review current literature for new developments within the Broadband industry, including competitive information.
• Attend and exhibit at local trade shows to gain new customers through the detailing of new products, as needed
• Participate in local professional meetings to develop new customers
• Ability to successfully sell in both short and long-term sales cycles
• Desire to sell tangible products and services
• Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Omni Cable's code of conduct, company policies and standards
