Job Description:

  • Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants
  • Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus for Eligible Applicants
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10-7pm ; Friday 9am-6pm
  • Location: Advent Health Sports Med and Rehab, 2488 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy Suite 103 Kissimmee, FL 34744
  • The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.
  • Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
  • Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
  • Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures
  • Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
  • Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.
  • Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
  • Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director
  • Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.
  • Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director.
  • Practices principles of professional development by maintaining clinical competencies, using best and/or evidence-based practices, and serving as a clinical instructor.
  • Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
  • Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
