Job Description:- Up to $10,000 Sign on Bonus

- Primary Location: AdventHealth Sports Medicine & Rehab East Orlando 7975 Lake Underhill Rd Suite 345, Orlando, FL 32822
- Will also Travel to: Sports Medicine & Rehab's following clinics Innovation Tower, Lake Mary, Celebration, Fish Memorial
- Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am - 5pm
- The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.
- Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
- Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
- Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
- Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
- Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards. Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
- Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:• Doctorate [Preferred]
Field of Study:• in Physical Therapy
Work Experience:• Previous Work Experience with Neuro Patient (Preferred)

Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.
Licenses and Certifications:• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] OR
• Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) [Required]
