Description

The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking an Outpatient Clinician to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. This position is responsible for providing outpatient clinical services to clients served by The Guidance Center. Evenings Required (1+ days per week after 5 p).

  • Competitive salary of $79,388 to $84,388, depending upon qualifications.

Primary Duties:

1. Provide intake assessments and initial treatment planning

2. Provide psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) and on-going treatment planning

3. LMLP and LCP staff will provide psychological testing, interpretation, and report-writing as needed and within the scope of licensure and training.

4. Provide minimum of four appointment hours per week after 5 pm

5. Work additional hours when needed to complete required work.

6. Provide daytime crisis services when needed

7. Ensure that all clinical services provided follow clinical guidelines of The Guidance Center and regulatory bodies

8. Understand direct service requirements and efficiency goals established by TGC for the position, and achieve same

9. Provide documentation (clinical notes, reports, and other professional products) which complies with TGC's Quality Improvement standards and the requirements of all funding sources.

10. Be able to organize work to meet direct service expectations and Center requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

Required: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling, and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment.

EXPERIENCE:

Required: two semester's master-level practicum experience in a clinical setting providing assessment and therapy services

Preferred: post master's clinical experience, and experience with the Kansas system of community-based mental health care and associated evidence-based practices. Licensed Addictions Counselor, Licensed Master Addictions Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor or willingness to obtain licensure.

Salary Description

$79,388 to $84,388 per year
