Credentials: Master's degree in behavioral health field required. Active clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent).

Location: Sacramento, CA.

Seeking an experienced Outpatient Clinical Director to oversee outpatient behavioral health and substance use services. This role provides clinical leadership, supervises therapists, supports program development, and ensures quality care and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include oversight of treatment planning, clinical documentation, outpatient programming, chart audits, staff supervision, and clinical quality. Works closely with interdisciplinary leadership to support coordinated care and continuity across levels of service.

Requirements:
  • Minimum five years of experience in substance use treatment
  • Minimum two years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet automobile insurance requirements
  • Successful completion of background check, drug test, physical, and TB screening

Qualifications:
  • Experience with substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and ASAM criteria
  • Working knowledge of DHCS, CARF, and Joint Commission standards
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation and compliance requirements
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and disciplines


Compensation: $110k+ depending on experience plus annual performance-based bonus of up to 10%
