Full Job Description
We are looking for a new **Outbound Manager **to join our Nevada Fulfillment Center! This individual will report into our Assistant General Manager and is responsible for managing, coordinating, and leading all Outbound operations. If you are looking for a career that will allow you to motivate team members and support management, this is the job for you! **Job Type: **Full-Time, Exempt **Location: **196,000 sq. ft. in Reno, NV at 9460 N. Virginia St., Suite C, Reno, NV 89506 **Schedule: **This role oversees an operation that runs **Sunday through Friday** from** 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. PT**. While this position generally follows a schedule of **Monday through Friday** from **8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PT**, operational demands during peak and seasonal periods may require leaders to work additional hours beyond their regular schedule. Leaders are expected to maintain a flexible schedule and adjust their working hours as needed to support the business and their teams. **Salary:** $79,000 - $99,000 annually **Responsibilities:** - Oversee all processes and procedures for outbound operations including picking and packing - Ensure the picking and packing teams are staffed appropriately in order to operate at peak efficiency and complete all assigned tasks on a daily basis - Manage the work performance of each member of the outbound leadership team to ensure productivity standards and KPI metrics are consistently being met - Identify, lead, and support continuous initiatives that improve customer service, accuracy, and productivity while reducing operating cost - Determine the root cause of process opportunities, addressing issues and piloting resolutions to standard - Partner and communicate with management/leadership to ensure alignment of objectives, to problem solve, provide operational updates, and develop new operational procedures and strategies - Deliver performance reviews and conduct monthly check-ins with each member of the outbound leadership team to establish rapport and provide feedback - Address performance-related incidents that arise and recommend a course of action on all disciplinary and personnel issues - Train and develop team leads and associates through coaching, mentoring, and effective communication to develop a strong culture of employee engagement - Attend and participate in HR Leadership meetings - Create and promote a safe working environment while developing a culture in which team members feel safe and comfortable in their areas of responsibility - All members of management are expected to lead by example and maintain professional standards in the workplace **Requirements:** - 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution management, with direct oversight of multiple teams or departments - Understanding of distribution flow, integration, and automation - Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain, and logistics concepts - Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and logistics concepts. - Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with HR, Safety, or Corporate departments to support broader organizational goals. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel) - Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to see the "big picture" and identify/forecast developing issues - Strong problem-solving, time management, multitasking, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including public speaking - Ability to work independently, multitask and follow process and standard procedures - Ability to perform physical activity including, but not limited to walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling various items - Ability to lift and carry items 10-50Ibs (all members are expected to seek help if an item is over 50lbs or if the weight limit that can be lifted is reached) - Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary **Why work with us:** - **We have awesome benefits** - We offer a wide variety of benefits to help support you and your loved ones.
