Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of parts department financials including fill rate, gross profit, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with OEM parts systems, especially Mercedes-Benz Star Parts, is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a cohesive parts team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining inventory accuracy and process compliance.
  • Experience with DMS platforms such as Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead all parts department operations - managing inventory, staffing, vendor relationships, and daily workflow to support a high-performing service department
• Drive parts department profitability - owning gross profit, fill rates, inventory turn, and obsolescence control
• Develop and hold accountable a parts team - building capability, accuracy, and a culture of consistent execution at the counter and in the warehouse
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective action proactively when results drift from target
• Manage Mercedes-Benz OEM parts programs, warranty parts processes, and manufacturer return procedures with full compliance
• Build and maintain strong vendor and OEM relationships - ensuring parts availability and program participation are optimized
• Partner closely with service management to align parts supply with service demand - minimizing delays and keeping technicians productive
• Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined receiving, cycle counts, and bin organization standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 3+ years of parts manager experience in a franchised dealership - Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand experience strongly preferred
• Strong command of parts department financials - fill rate, gross profit, inventory turn, and obsolescence management
• Deep familiarity with OEM parts systems - Mercedes-Benz Star Parts or equivalent experience a significant advantage
• Proven ability to develop and lead a parts team
• Process-oriented with strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Comfortable with DMS platforms - Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred
• Clear communicator who works effectively with service managers, advisors, and technicians
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
