Job Description

COLSA is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) / Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Analyst to support the identification, assessment, and analysis of control systems supporting critical infrastructure and mission-essential assets for Department of War operations.

In this role, you will conduct on-site assessments and inventories of Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS) and their associated components. You will work with government stakeholders, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and facility personnel to identify system dependencies, document existing environments, and evaluate how control systems, facilities, and infrastructure support mission execution.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

  • Conduct on-site assessments and physical and logical inventories of OT, ICS, FRCS, and associated system components.*
  • Identify and document control systems supporting facilities, critical infrastructure, and mission-essential assets.*
  • Coordinate with facility personnel, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, system owners, and other stakeholders to identify systems, components, interfaces, and operational dependencies.*
  • Review site maps, system architecture documentation, engineering information, site assessments, and operational processes to develop system and workflow documentation.*
  • Analyze mission assessments to identify key assets, critical infrastructure, supporting systems, and dependencies that may affect mission execution.*
  • Assess and document relationships and dependencies among control systems, facilities, infrastructure, and mission-essential functions.*
  • Perform technical research and analysis across the system lifecycle, including design, installation, inventory, operation, sustainment, and disposal.
  • Support validation audits and technical evaluations of existing OT/ICS environments.
  • Document system components and assessment data using established program baseline templates and other required repositories.*
  • Develop technical and operational views, reports, and summaries that provide leadership with an accurate understanding of system status, dependencies, operational impacts, and mission risk.*
  • Support additional technical assessments and analysis as required.


Required Experience

  • One of the following combinations of education and relevant experience:
    • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or
    • Associate's degree in related field and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or
    • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must have an Active Secret security clearance
  • Prior experience supporting OT, ICS, FRCS, infrastructure assessments, or related technical environments
  • Working knowledge of Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS), SCADA, Building Automation Systems (BAS), or similar control environments
  • Ability to identify and analyze system dependencies, infrastructure relationships, operational impacts, and technical risks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% in support of customer site visits and assessment activities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting site assessments, physical and logical system inventories, validation audits, or technical evaluations
  • Experience analyzing and documenting OT/ICS architectures, system components, workflows, dependencies, and operational processes
  • Experience with control system scanning, discovery, or inventory activities
  • Experience with one or more of the following control systems, technologies, or platforms:
    • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
    • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
    • Building Automation Systems (BAS)
    • Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control systems
