Growing Orthopedic and Sports Medicine practice, providing patient access to the specialty, working with multiple subspecialties including shoulder/upper extremity, hand, total joint, hip preservation, sports medicine and trauma.

FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Schedule: 4x10's

Position Summary
The orthopedic clinic APP is a key provider within the ambulatory orthopedic team, focusing on comprehensive musculoskeletal care in the outpatient setting. They collaborate closely with patients, family members, and a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic conditions, ensuring optimal recovery and mobility.
This position specializes in assessing and managing orthopedic injuries and conditions, providing non-surgical treatment options, and overseeing rehabilitation strategies. The clinic APP will perform joint injections, arthrocentesis, diagnostic imaging reviews, and minor outpatient procedures while educating patients on injury prevention and long-term musculoskeletal health. Additionally, they contribute to evidence-based orthopedic care, optimizing treatment protocols and supporting continuity of care.Responsibilities
• Evaluation and diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries

• Joint injections, arthrocentesis, and other minor outpatient procedures

• Postoperative care management, including wound assessment, pain control, and rehabilitation guidance

• Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to hospital policies and regulations
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in clinic-based call rotation as needed

Requirements

• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $172,000.00 - $172,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
