Job Overview

The Order & Revenue Manager will lead, mentor and supervise the ISS Order and Revenue Management Team (ORM) as they manage the order to cash process by reviewing orders, entering billing and accounts receivable activities and partnering with the ISS Finance and Accounting teams to support revenue reporting. Be the subject matter expert as it relates to managing our business including but not limited to: SAP, Quote and Sales process requirements and improvements. This role can sit in our office in either Des Moines (IA), Iron Mountain (MI) or St Louis (MO).

A Day In The Life

  • Lead department operations for sales order, milestone billing maintenance and billing compliance
  • Comply with US GAAP and SOX requirements
  • Provide leadership and support for sales and use tax filings and exemption certification management
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication flow and operational efficiency to enhance both customer experience and internal effectiveness
  • Ensure accurate order entry, billing readiness, invoice corrections, credit memo processing, dispute resolution, and coordination with Collections to remove payment barriers and drive timely cash collection
  • Function as the primary training/coaching resource for the team and help to identify when additional training is required for members of the team. Evaluate individual and team workloads
  • Assist Finance and Technical Accounting with reconciliation activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable work environment
  • Special projects as assigned
