Job Summary

The Oracle HCM Cloud Techno-Functional Specialist will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of Payroll, Benefits, and related modules within Oracle HCM Cloud. This includes ensuring accurate time tracking, absence management, payroll processing, tax calculations, benefits enrollment, and compliance with local labor and tax laws. The specialist will work closely with the Client's HRIS team to maintain seamless end-to-end HR, payroll, and benefits operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Time Management

  • Configure, manage, and support Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payroll runs.
  • Oversee federal, state, and local tax calculations, deductions, garnishments, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Payroll, OTL, Absence Management, and other HR modules.
  • Perform regular payroll audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and accurate employee compensation.
  • Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide timely support for payroll-related inquiries.


Benefits & Open Enrollment

  • Support and configure Oracle Benefits Cloud, including plans, eligibility profiles, rates, life event processing, and enrollment flows.
  • Assist with open enrollment setup, testing, validation, and employee communication support.
  • Manage benefit plan changes, annual updates, and compliance consistency across payroll and benefits.


Fast Formulas & Technical Skills

  • Develop and maintain Oracle Fast Formulas for payroll, absence, benefits, compensation, and eligibility rules.
  • Write, test, and optimize formulas for complex payroll and benefits calculations.
  • Support extensions, configurations, and integrations as needed.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Create and maintain OTBI, BIP, HCM Extracts, and other standard/custom reports.
  • Analyze payroll and benefits data to identify discrepancies, trends, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide reporting support for audits, compliance, and leadership decision-making.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Client's HRIS team to align payroll, benefits, and time tracking processes with business goals.
  • Provide support for related HR functions, including onboarding, employee data management, and benefits administration.
  • Serve as a backup resource for ODA, HR Helpdesk, and other HRIS-related support functions.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll; strong functional understanding of related modules.
  • Experience with Benefits Administration, Open Enrollment, and benefits-to-payroll integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Fast Formulas, including payroll, absence, and benefits formulas.
  • Familiarity with multi-country payroll, statutory compliance, and global payroll operations.
  • Ability to configure and integrate OTL with Payroll and other HR modules.
  • Excellent skills in problem-solving, troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with HRIS and business stakeholders.
