Introduction

Currently, we are looking for an Oracle Cloud FIN Technical Lead to join our team. This is a full-time position that can sit anywhere in the United States.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in Oracle ERP Financials Cloud, you will leverage consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to help clients effectively integrate the Oracle Finance Applications into their business environment. This role involves implementing and supporting the Oracle Financial Cloud Application, a collection of integrated modules that include Core Application Finance application skills. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Implement Oracle Finance Applications: Design and implement Oracle Financial Cloud Application modules, including General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Subledger Accounting, and Taxes, to meet client business requirements. • Support Client Integration: Collaborate with clients to integrate Oracle Finance Applications into their business environment, ensuring seamless adoption and effective utilization of the solutions. • Develop Solution Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in Oracle Financial Cloud Application, including niche/supporting applications such as Accounting Hub, Lease Accounting, and Revenue Management Cloud Service. • Deliver Business Results: Work with clients to drive desired business results through effective implementation and support of Oracle Finance Applications. • Manage Solution Delivery: Coordinate and oversee the delivery of Oracle Finance Application solutions, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do:
  • Provides technical oversight for technical estimates created with standards tools, portfolio Work Breakdown Structures, statements of work, and industry-standard estimating techniques.
  • Supports client engagements with in-depth portfolio knowledge and implementation experience. Ensures that the solution aligns with and utilizes the portfolio offerings that result in profitable revenue growth.
  • Acts as a technical interface to the client and assumes a proactive role in developing business opportunities and ensuring positive financial outcomes for engagements and business development activities.
  • Builds quality solutions that meet the requirements and advises clients on IBM offerings, strategy, designs, implementation approaches, and alternatives/tradeoffs.
  • Identifies opportunities for new or follow-on business and assists in creating change orders.
  • Provides input to the project plan and work breakdown structure.
  • Develops and refines solution design models using standard industry modeling languages and the IBM toolset.
  • Works with client technical staff during the requirements definition and implementation to resolve issues.
  • Maintains and reports on implementation status and changes to risks, estimates, or schedules.
  • Performs responsibilities including solution proposal assistance, solution design, solution review, risk analysis and client presentations.


Preferred technical and professional experience

What You'll Bring:
  • A minimum of 4-8+ years of consulting in the implementation of Oracle FIN across multiple clients and solution offerings.
  • FIN Cloud experience in building and configuring GL, AR, AP, CM, Expenses.
  • Competently explain and demonstrate Oracle templates with clients.
  • Skillful and hands-on experience in FIN Extracts, BI Reports
  • Experience in setting up BPM Workflow Approval rules - Using both FSM and BPM
  • Exposure to creating Custom roles and auto-provisioning rules
  • Knowledge of building Application extensions using VBCS
  • Familiar with SSO Configurations with various IDP Providers
  • Able to manage client expectations, client relationships and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manages a team of people, including their training, development, performance, and career path.
  • Facilitates open and effective communications between employees and multiple levels of practice and sales management.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
