Job Summary
We are seeking an Oracle EAM Developer to provide technical development, administration, and production support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.15 and Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The role requires strong experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Java, PL/SQL, SQL, and Workflow development. The developer will work with minimal supervision to provide technical and functional support, develop and maintain custom applications, troubleshoot complex issues, support integrations, and contribute to change management and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, Oracle Support, and external vendors and will support integrations between Oracle EAM, dataPARC, and the GE Vernova Asset Performance Management (APM) SaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical development, administration, and production support for Oracle EAM.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain custom Oracle applications and enhancements.
• Support and provide backup coverage for Oracle EAM and GE Vernova APM integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex application and interface issues in collaboration with Oracle Support and GE Vernova.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Oracle APEX and OAF customizations and applications.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL, SQL, Java, and Oracle Workflow solutions.
• Support application integrations and SaaS integration initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with change management processes and SOX controls.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Contribute to application improvement, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of IT application development and support experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) customization.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle APEX development.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EAM.
• Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.15.
• Strong experience with PL/SQL and SQL.
• Experience with Java and Oracle Workflow development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Houston, TX five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Claude or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with SaaS integrations.
• Experience with Dell Boomi.
• Experience supporting integrations between Oracle EAM and external asset management platforms.
• Experience with Oracle Database 12c on Linux.
• Experience with Toad and SQL*Plus.
