Summary:
The Director Supply Chain Perioperative Services implements measures and directs supply chain activities within the Perioperative Services departments in conjunction with other supply chain stakeholders. The Director creates alignment with the clinical agenda and contributes to the development and execution of supply expense and strategic plans
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the perioperative supply chain leader across CHST perioperative, special procedure, Heart Center and IR service lines, ensuring system-wide standardization, alignment with clinical priorities, and high reliability of supply delivery.
* Collaborate with surgical and executive leadership to develop near term and long-range operational supply chain strategies in support of strategic directives, new technology adoption, and clinical performance improvement.
* Interpret and identify trends provided in advanced analytics to drive cost-per-case visibility, and surgical service line margin improvement.
* Collaborate with perioperative leadership to outline, implement and manage initiatives that reduce surgical supply variation, administration related to item management and engage surgeons in value-based decision-making.
* Fully understand and team the mechanics of inventory accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards governing OR supply handling, inventory control, documentation, and procurement.
* Oversee the development, coordination, and maintenance of daily staffing schedules to ensure the appropriate level of coverage and continuity of care across units.
How You'll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 7 years' experience progressively responsible experience in Supply Chain required.
* Experience in C-Suite, clinical, or medical staff initiatives required.
* Experience in operating room, surgical services, and procedural services required
EDUCATION
* Four-year bachelor's degree in business admin, finance, supply chain, economics, healthcare admin, or a related field required.
* Master's Degree preferred.
