EyeZone South Reno is seeking a skilled Optometrist to help meet growing demand for care in a respected, community-rooted practice. What you'll do:
In this role, you'll provide comprehensive optometric care while ensuring consistent clinical excellence, outstanding patient experiences, and strong support for practice operations. You'll deliver thorough eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, collaborate closely with office teams, and adapt to varying patient volumes, staffing needs, and practice environments. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. You'll have the opportunity to practice full-scope optometry, caring for patients across age groups and a wide range of visual and medical conditions. Using the latest technology, you'll provide accurate diagnoses, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and educate patients on healthy vision and preventive care. Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
