What you'll do:
As a full-time optometrist at Buena Vista Eyecare Optometry, you'll enjoy a rewarding and varied workday, caring for a diverse range of patients in a collaborative, multicultural setting. With a patient schedule of 22 slots over eight hours-dedicating at least 16 slots to exams-your day will be structured for efficiency, allowing you to conduct two or more comprehensive or medical eye exams per hour. You'll utilize advanced, high-tech equipment to deliver precise diagnoses and personalized solutions while working alongside a dedicated team committed to compassionate, individualized care. The position offers a consistent four- to five-day workweek with eight-hour days, and you'll benefit from a comprehensive package including a production bonus, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, and a continuing education allowance to support your professional growth. Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
