Full Job Description
Pay Starting at: $85,000.00

You will design, develop, deliver and implement technical, safety OQ, and regulator training programs for your area. You will develop training plans, curriculum, and instructional methods to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Serves as a team lead and backup to the department supervisor.
  • Design, develop, deliver and implement Technical, Safety, OQ, and Regulatory training programs
  • Evaluate and update existing training programs, materials and manuals to ensure continuous improvement and compliance
  • Deliver technical training programs through a blended learning approach including classroom, hands on and on-the-job training
  • Collaborate with operations to identify training needs
  • Prioritize the planning, execution and development of training schedules, programs and materials to meet hiring schedules and emergent workloads
  • Evaluate performance and follow up with students learning through field visits, observations and refresher training
  • Promote a safe work environment by actively participating in all aspects of employee safety program
  • Support our interdependent safety culture by building safety awareness into training programs
  • Provide operational input into the selection and operation on new tools and equipment
  • Represent and protect the interests of NEUCO and its employees by actively participating on assigned external committees
  • Oversee the maintenance of records in the NGA Operator Qualification Database
  • Other tasks requested by leadership


What You'll Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field - or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Gas Operations and/or Gas Training or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to gas distribution and distribution system design
  • Knowledge of construction principles and safety standards
  • Knowledge of Company, Customer and State and Federal regulations pertaining to gas distribution

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a 50% office and 50% field work at warehouse and construction sites
  • Flexibility to work different schedules and stay late with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
