Description

SAIC is seeking a qualified Operator Engagement SME to provide Operational insight and "voice of the operator" to theCMCCTeam. Also serving as the liaison between the broaderCMCC customer baseand the Capability Providers.Contribute operational expertise to thesystems engineeringand software development teams in articulating and validating systems requirements and architectures. Serves as Business Owner for the member product solution during agile implementation, ensuring value and solid acceptance criteria are being established forCMCCfeatures.

Job Duties include:
  • Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the overall goals
  • Coordinating different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities
  • Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency
  • Provide operational expertise regarding the development and employment of CMCC products to the CMCC development teams and customer
  • Contribute operational expertise to the systems engineering and software development teams in articulating and validating systems requirements and architectures

  • Provide CMCC expertise to exercise planning and execution teams
  • Support detailed planning of exercises
  • Contribute to detailed after-action reports and recommendations
  • Coordinate with system engineers to ensure technical architecture supports exercise and demonstration objectives and scenarios
  • Participate in technical reviews and conduct briefings to audiences of operational aircrews thru DoD decision makers.
  • Participation in internal and external working groups and technical reviews
  • Working independently and/or with the requirements development team to resolve technical problems/issues
  • Support development of Concept of Operations documents (ConOps); Concept of Employment (ConEmp), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures; (TTP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship.
  • BA degree and 9 years of prior relevant experience; OR Masters and 9 years of experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on operational experience with C2, ISR systems, Intelligence Analysis or Comm/computer integration.
  • Experience supporting DoD projects/programs with preference given to cross domain C4ISR and/or communication/computer systems experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Hands-on operational and training experience with communication/computer and/or C2 / ISR systems.
  • Familiarity or experience with support to major joint/combatant command exercises.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
