Operations / Wellsite Geologist II - Development and Production Geoscientist

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of energy exploration and production as an Operations / Wellsite Geologist II, where your expertise will directly impact the development and optimization of our hydrocarbon reservoirs. Based in Spring, TX, within the Houston corporate region, this is your chance to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment, supporting drilling operations with your geological insight.

This role calls for a seasoned geoscientist with a passion for solving complex geological challenges. You'll work independently, applying your robust interpretation skills to support well planning, execution, and reservoir development. Your expertise will help advance our understanding of unconventional reservoirs, particularly within the Permian Basin, ensuring industry-leading results.

Required Skills:

  • Effective quantitative interpretation skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound geological judgments
  • Experience with well planning and execution in support of drilling operations
  • Proficiency in integrating geoscience data, analogs, and ideas
  • Experience with geoscience software such as Kingdom, Petra, and Petrel
  • Strong knowledge of regional, core, well, and seismic data interpretation

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Unconventional reservoirs
  • Permian Basin experience
  • Additional software proficiency or data analysis skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master of Science (M.S.) degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)
  • Three or more years of relevant industry experience in geoscience roles

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus
