JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a strategic thinker with a strong background in business management, project management, and/or communications? Are you interested in the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, enhance business processes, influence decision-making across the organization, and contributing to success and growth? Join our Healthcare Payments organization on our Operations team supporting Client Onboarding, Implementation, Customer Service, and other operations functions. 

As an Operations Strategy Manager within the Healthcare Payments Operations team at JPMorgan Chase, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer for InstaMed, part of JPMorgan Chase. You will demonstrate strategic thinking and be adept at managing internal projects and initiatives, enhancing business processes, and collaborating across teams and business units. You will make recommendations on business priorities, coordinate team activities, prepare executive communications, and leverage your expertise in Excel and PowerPoint to deliver compelling presentations. Your operational experience will be key in delivering insightful reporting packages and driving strategic initiatives that add value across the organization. Additionally, you will support special projects and represent the Chief Operating Officer’s needs as appropriate, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional projects ensuring effective collaboration across teams and on-time delivery.
  • Participate in collaborative initiatives to help identify ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes.
  • Leverage operational experience, data tools, and insights to deliver reporting packages and present business results in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for executive communications, town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions.
  • Collect and maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration sites such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Prepare thorough meeting agendas, gather necessary data and insight, and form strategic plans for next steps.
  • Support for executive ad-hoc requests related to presentation development, business analysis and business planning.
  • Organize complex information in a strategic and effective way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in strategy, project management, business management, or operations leadership.
  • Proactively motivated and agile self-starter with excellent project management and prioritization skills. 
  • Expertly skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships, driving the agenda and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations, data insights and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders.  Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills; aptitude to deliver reporting and projects and act autonomously. Commitment to ownership, accountability, and transparency; strong judgment and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to develop and deliver executive level summaries.
  • Proven Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and proficiency in CRM Salesforce.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Healthcare, or related area.
  • Experience in the payments industry, with a focus on healthcare payments.
