Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Operations Software Analyst Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to engage in and enhance the full lifecycle of application services, from initial design and development through deployment, operation, and ongoing refinement. Understand business requirements and architecting software development workflows across various environments, including development, testing, staging, non-production, and production. Implement services using Docker to manage containerized application servers and collaborating with architecture, development, testing, security, and IT services teams to provision and deploy machines on Azure Virtual Machines using Ansible and Terraform. Develop Azure Resource Manager templates and Elastic Beanstalk environments, gathering client requirements, and managing networking configurations such as cross-account VPC peering. Support FIS software deployments, onboarding new clients, troubleshooting client issues, and resolving environmental problems. Coordinate with development and technology teams to improve customer experience and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain internal systems and software that support critical operational service delivery processes across multiple production data centers.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology Management or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: troubleshooting performance issues with tools including Splunk, Azure Monitor, and Azure Log Analytics; performing in-house automated health checks to resolve performance issues including slow-running applications, connectivity failures, application outages, automation breakdowns, and job execution failures across CI/CD pipelines, container platforms including Docker and Kubernetes, and multi-cloud infrastructure; identifying resolutions for PCS Investran Application upgrade issues and client reported issues; working on continuous improvements to optimize infrastructure and workflows for the Private Capital Suite application by automating repetitive tasks, deploying CI/CD pipelines, enabling predictive maintenance, and upgrading to a centralized knowledge repository; monitoring and analyzing infrastructure performance in real-time; and utilizing tools and technologies used in reliability engineering including Splunk, Tryambak, Azure Monitor & Log Analytics, Terraform, Kubernates and Dynatrace.
