What is the opportunity?

This primary purpose of this position is to lead and manage the client reporting department, inclusive of statements, confirmations, client mailings, and prospectus delivery with time sensitive, complex and/or highly specialized processes to ensure overall performance meets or exceeds the established industry and company standards for service, innovation and professionalism. This role requires enhanced customer service, process improvements, and complex problem solving, as well as an understanding of regulatory and organizational risks associated with work processes, how work is processed from beginning to end, and dependencies on other areas and departments.

What will you do?
  • Department Leadership & Performance: Lead the Operations Department to meet/exceed industry and company standards for service, innovation, and professionalism while embodying organizational values and acting as a positive role model.
  • Industry Knowledge & Compliance: Stay current with regulations, trends, and technologies; ensure all processes and procedures align with regulatory requirements and are accurately documented.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Serve as a principal decision-maker using business knowledge and sound judgment to guide department operations and support organizational initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain credible professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and external vendors; actively solicit and respond to feedback.
  • Process Optimization: Design, review, and implement new processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs and risk, and enhance service quality.
  • Risk & Quality Oversight: Execute oversight activities for complex and specialized deliverables to ensure controls effectively manage work quality, mitigate risk, and maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets, financial forecasts, staffing models, and performance metrics in conjunction with senior management business planning.
  • Team Development: Provide training, coaching, recognition, and succession planning for team members; oversee performance management and compensation administration to ensure consistent, quality service delivery.


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 5+ years of securities, banking, technology and/or job specific industry experience
  • 5+ years prior securities, banking, technology industry and/or job specific related experience
  • Securities license 7 or 99 (or able to obtain license within 120 days)
  • 5+ years demonstrated and sound experience leading and managing a team
  • Demonstrated aptitude in building, directing and leading individuals and teams and change management


Nice-to-have
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field
  • 5+ years credit operations, project management, vendor management, analysis, and/or risk control experience

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $90,000 - $160,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
