AMMM Production Engineering has a need for a Data Scientist Sr to serve as the owner of our readiness tool. This role is part of our Strategy & Readiness Organization. In this role, you will immediately impact the business with your technical depth, ingenuity, creativity, and ideas that will be the catalyst for future business. As a Data Scientist Sr in AMMM, you will play a critical role serving as the stakeholder responsible to work with all disciplines to position our Production Engineering portfolio for success. You will be responsible for:

Adding analysis and reporting capabilities for our "Are We Ready" (AWR) Tool

Overhaul and Development of metrics across entire organization

Define and develop dashboards for KPI tracking

Capturing Production Engineering process lifecycles and identifying

Liaise with Production Engineering Central Services (PECS)

There is an expectation of driving integration across all Production Engineering disciplines as part of consolidating all metrics / measures / KPIs.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, be highly collaborative, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as appropriate, and produce superior work products under short deadlines. Candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

This position is located in Marietta, GA.

This role may require infrequent travel and possible weekend/off-hour support. We work full time on site, this is not a remote / telecommuting position.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree Required: Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

- Experience with data science, analysis, modeling, and/or visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc)

- Experience with/in one or more of the following Operations related business functions such as Prod Ops, Production Engineering, Quality, PP&C, GSC, Engineering

- Demonstrated ability to independently lead analytics efforts from problem definition to deployment

- Demonstrated ability to develop process documentation for end user support

- Experience interacting with Senior Level Leaders, including creating and briefing presentations

- Ability to work independently and develop a strong support network across organizations

Desired skills

- Master's Degree (MS)

- Experience with aircraft manufacturing processes

- JIRA Super User / Confluence user experience

- Proven ability to interface effectively with different levels of management and multiple disciplines

- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and suppliers

- Program startup experience

- Active DoD Secret Clearance

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,900 - $184,920. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,600 - $209,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
