Position Summary
The Operations Process Specialist supports the execution and continuous improvement of integrated business planning processes across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, operations, and customer demand management functions. Integrated within the global competence center for process management at the company’s headquarters in Germany, this role collaborates closely with local stakeholders in Minnesota and operations colleagues in South Carolina. From a process perspective, the role serves as an important connector between strategic planning objectives and daily operational execution.
What you will be doing:
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Responsible to build up integrated end-to-end processes in project approach for continuous support "keep it simple" in a growing environment in region NALA
- Identify opportunities for continuous optimization & harmonization of steering processes (SIOP, S&OE) from a global operations perspective, in close cooperation with the global team and external partners
- Implementation of process transformation & digitalization projects in the role of Business Project Manager to establish planning and analytics capabilities, in first time focusing on the US sites in Aiken & Mankato
- Build the process connection from company- and site-level down to shop-floor whilst ensuring comparability with global Operations network to enable effective Performance Management
- Maintain planning master data within SAP to support data quality initiatives across planning and supply chain functions
Position Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field with 7+ years of experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field with 5+ years of experience, OR
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field with 2+ years of experience, OR
- In lieu of a degree 9+ years of professional experience in logistics in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Has company-wide outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working
- Understanding/knowledge of multiple disciplines demonstrating breadth of experience. Appreciation of product integrity
- Has a proven track record delivering improved operational performance in both favorable and unfavorable conditions, utilizing cross-functional teams
- Has experience deploying continuous improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma, ideally with Green Belt accreditation
- Management experience in an engineering industry
