Operations Manager - El Dorado Disposal 📍 Placerville, CA
🕒 Monday-Friday; start times vary between 3:00 am and 8:00 am based on the needs of the site. Occasional weekend work. Averaging 50 hours per week.
💰 $90,000-$120,000 + 30% cash/equity bonus
What You'll DoAs an Operations Manager, you'll lead day-to-day hauling operations while developing your leadership team and driving performance across safety, service, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise drivers and frontline supervisors in daily collection operations
- Monitor routes and staffing; adjust resources in real time to meet service demands
- Partner with the District Manager on budgeting and P&L performance
- Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of frontline leaders
- Conduct field inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance and best practices
- Handle and resolve customer escalations with professionalism and urgency
- Oversee environmental, OSHA, and local regulatory compliance
- Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals
- Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
What We're Looking For- 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-heavy environment
- Proven ability to manage large, hourly teams and shifting priorities
- Experience with operations, logistics, or field-based teams
- Exposure to budgeting or P&L management
- Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Excel and business systems
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Willingness to relocate for advancement opportunities
