Operations Manager/Trainer (contingent 045)

The Biometric Systems Fielding and Sustainment Manager oversees the procurement, fielding, training, and sustainment of biometric collection and identity management systems supporting DoW and U.S. Army programs. This role ensures successful system deployment and lifecycle support in alignment with Army acquisition and sustainment processes, with emphasis on Total Package Fielding (TPF) activities including New Equipment Fielding (NEF), New Equipment Training (NET), Platform Integration (PI), and Technical Field Support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee system procurement, fielding, sustainment, and lifecycle management of BCC systems in support of operational requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with Army units and government stakeholders to execute fielding events, training, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support.
  • Manage logistics and operational support for personnel and systems deployed to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Support and execute Army Total Package Fielding (TPF) processes, including NEF, NET, PI, and related integration activities.
  • Manage system upgrades, enhancements, and technology refresh initiatives to ensure continued operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct training on the use and operation of biometric collection systems, ensuring end-user proficiency and mission readiness.
  • Develop, update, and maintain user guides, lesson plans, training curricula, and other instructional materials.
  • Provide technical field support and serve as a liaison between engineers, contractors, military personnel, and government civilians.
  • Ensure effective communication across all stakeholders to promote collaboration, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and assist in resolving technical and operational issues in deployed environments.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with biometric technologies and identity management systems.
  • Experience supporting DoW or other U.S. Government contracts, with strong understanding of Army acquisition and sustainment processes.
  • Direct experience with Army Total Package Fielding (TPF), including NEF, NET, PI, and Technical Field Support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience coordinating fielding, training, and sustainment activities with military units and government stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic operational environments.
  • Adhere to the company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting biometric collection systems (BCC) or similar mission-critical government systems.
  • Familiarity with CONUS and OCONUS deployment support activities.
  • Experience developing technical training materials and delivering structured instruction to end users.
  • Strong understanding of system lifecycle management and operational sustainment practices.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience
