Job Summary: Operations Manager - Special Projects reports directly to the Director of Program Integrity & Contract Compliance and is responsible for the planning, development, management, and implementation of projects as assigned. Work will include coordination, communication, and collaboration with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) regarding oversight of Texas Resilience and Recovery Prior Authorizations, Clinical Reviews, and Appeals. This leadership position works in collaboration with non-clinical areas including fiscal operations, quality management, utilization management, and management and information systems in order to implement new initiatives and improve current clinical processes. This position coordinates and/or supervises the activities of personnel involved in the coordination of activities with Managed Care Organizations as well as special projects as assigned.
The Operations Manager - Special Projects is expected to promote a culture of care that provides top quality clinical services to all individuals. This position is also accountable for creating an atmosphere which encourages motivation, innovation, and high performance and is responsible for recruiting, selecting, and hiring appropriate staff for the organization. This position perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative, and judgment. Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:Required:
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master's degree preferred.
License:Required:
- Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Experience:Required:
- Experience in Administration and Evaluation relevant to assignment.
Hours: Full-Time.
Workdays: Monday - Friday.
Workhours: 9:00AM - 5:00PM.
Salary: $86,008.83 - $109,652.61 annually.
