A Snapshot of your DayThe Operations Manager is responsible for leading daily plant operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power generation. This role partners closely with the Plant Manager and O&M leadership to oversee operational performance, compliance, and team development across the site.
How You'll Make an Impact- Lead plant operations to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant power generation.
- Drive operational performance by investigating issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain procedures, training programs, and operator qualifications.
- Monitor plant performance, prepare reports, and analyze outages to improve reliability.
- Partner with engineering and capital project teams to support plant improvements.
- Manage team performance, hiring, training, and promote a strong safety and HSE culture.
What you bring- High School Diploma/GED plus 5+ years of power plant or related experience, including 4+ years in leadership.
- Strong knowledge of plant operations, maintenance, and generating equipment.
- Understanding of engineering and maintenance integration within plant operations.
- Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and operational decision-making.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team development capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; T3000 DCS experience is a plus.
