A Snapshot of your Day

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading daily plant operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power generation. This role partners closely with the Plant Manager and O&M leadership to oversee operational performance, compliance, and team development across the site.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead plant operations to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant power generation.
  • Drive operational performance by investigating issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, training programs, and operator qualifications.
  • Monitor plant performance, prepare reports, and analyze outages to improve reliability.
  • Partner with engineering and capital project teams to support plant improvements.
  • Manage team performance, hiring, training, and promote a strong safety and HSE culture.
What you bring
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 5+ years of power plant or related experience, including 4+ years in leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of plant operations, maintenance, and generating equipment.
  • Understanding of engineering and maintenance integration within plant operations.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and operational decision-making.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team development capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; T3000 DCS experience is a plus.
