Full Job Description
In 1989, Wikoff's first continual improvement department was established, adopting a Total Quality Management approach. Over the years, the department has matured and expanded its vision to include not only oversight of the quality management system, but also training programs and employee safety while adopting other improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma.

Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing all daily branch operations, including production, scheduling, inventory, staffing, and customer fulfillment. This role ensures that operational standards are met consistently across safety, quality, and service while maintaining cost control and productivity. The Operations Manager is the frontline leader within each branch and plays a key role in executing standardized processes and supporting integration with the broader network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production scheduling, order fulfillment, and inventory control for the branch
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Supervise and develop branch-level staff, including production, QC, and admin teams
  • Monitor daily performance metrics and execute corrective actions as needed
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure timely delivery and service
  • Implement standardized operational procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting related to output, materials usage, and labor
  • Support customer service inquiries and resolve issues in alignment with corporate expectations
  • Other duties assigned by management


Key Deliverables:
  • Achieve daily production targets and customer delivery expectations (OTIF 60 95%)
  • Maintain accurate inventory and minimize scrap/waste through process adherence
  • Ensure all branch staff complete compliance and safety training within first 90 days
  • Execute branch-level KPIs aligned with corporate benchmarks within 6 months


Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Relevant vocational or technical training accepted with proven operations experience


Required Experience:
  • 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing or branch-level operations leadership
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and team supervision
  • Hands-on experience in applying operational procedures and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills


Working Conditions:
