Job Summary
Summary
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of environmental services operations within the organization. Develops and implements strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, promote sustainability, and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Essential Functions
Develop and implement an environmental services strategy aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Oversee all aspects of environmental services operations, including cleaning, waste management, recycling, sustainability initiatives, and general maintenance
Manage and provide leadership to environmental services supervisors and staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
Develop and implement standard operating procedures, guidelines, and training programs to ensure consistent and efficient operations across multiple locations or facilities
Collaborate with procurement and finance to manage vendor contracts, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies and services
Develop and implement sustainability initiatives such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and green cleaning practices
Schedule: 10:30 PM – 7:15 AM
Days: Sunday – Thursday
Education
Associate's Degree Environmental Sciences required or Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Certified Environmental Services Executive [CESE] - Indoor Environmental Healthcare and Hospitality Association preferred
Experience
Cleaning/Janitorial Experience 5-7 years required and Leadership/Supervisory Experience 3-5 years required and Sustainability Experience 2-3 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management practices, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and experience with implementing environmental initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues and implement effective solutions.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb stairs, and perform manual tasks as required.
