Job DescriptionThis Operations Manager role supports a lockbox processing team responsible for handling high volumes of wholesale payment transactions for a diverse customer base. The team's primary function is to open and process mailed payments, ensuring accurate and timely deposit completion in alignment with daily service level expectations. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations as a closing manager, leading a team of processors and ensuring workflow efficiency and performance consistency. Responsibilities include conducting regular one-on-one meetings, leading team huddles, monitoring performance against SLAs, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching. The role also requires enforcing established procedures, policies, and operational standards, while maintaining clear communication of departmental updates and expectations to the team.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically five or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience- Thorough knowledge of operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services supported by the assigned area(s)
- Understanding of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of applicable products, programs, financial analysis and related documentation as applicable
- Good organizational, managerial and project management skills
- Well-developed customer relations skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent supervisory and management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,345.00 - $115,700.00
