What you will enjoy doing*- In this role, you will lead day-to-day operations within the assigned cell, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and schedule commitments are consistently achieved
- You will provide hands-on leadership on the shop floor, reinforcing expectations, addressing issues in real time, and ensuring adherence to standard work
- Further, you will coordinate staffing, shift coverage, and overtime within the cell to meet production demands
- You will coach and develop Team Members, reinforcing accountability, performance expectations, and corrective actions when needed
- Additionally, you will apply, own, and drive Lean Production System principles within the cell, including waste identification (Muda), continuous improvement (Kaizen), and standard work, to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- You will identify and resolve production issues using structured problem-solving, escalating as needed to minimize downtime and disruption
- You will support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional responsibilities as required based on business needs
What makes you great - You have a PhD with 0-3 years of related experience, OR Master's degree with 5+ years, OR Bachelor's degree with 6+ years, OR 12+ years of directly related manufacturing experience
- You have experience leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment with accountability for safety, quality, and performance
- Demonstrated ability to coach employees and support performance management and corrective action processes
- Foundational understanding of Lean Production System principles, including respect for people, Kaizen, Muda, and structured problem-solving, with the ability to apply, own, and drive improvements within the cell
- You have the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and ensure adherence to operational standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across operations, maintenance, and support functions
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors including humility, transparency, accountability, and continuous learning
