About The Role:

As a CBRE Operations Management Sr. Consultant, you will execute complex, cross-functional projects that strengthen departmental operations, drive strategy execution and improve organizational effectiveness. In support of the Ops Director and audit management, you will translate leadership priorities into actionable plans, produce clear and timely updates for senior leaders, remove operational impediments and improve workflows, reporting, and decision support through process optimization and technology enablement (including automation and generative AI where appropriate).

This job is part of the Operations Management job function and reports to the Operations Director. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization's goals and strategies.

What You'll Do:

  • Interpret complex data, plan work, and refine techniques during the project. Assess unusual circumstances, varied techniques, and incomplete or conflicting data.
  • Monitor the performance of strategies and project teams. Highlight and improve areas of risk or underperformance and develop solutions.
  • Support in developing and implementing training programs for all functional group employees, including administration of the Learning and Development intranet platform and tracking within Talent Coach.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated inquiries and requests from internal and external clients.
  • Evaluate department processes and procedures and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. Make recommendations to management.
  • Compile a variety of complex operating, financial, and statistical information reports.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams.

  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.
  • Support the Ops Director with recurring status updates and dashboards for priorities, risks, progress and action plans.
  • Establish data definitions/standards for metrics and define, track and report (cycle time, throughput, capacity, SLA, etc.) to improve transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate planning/status routines and retrospectives to surface impediments and drive follow-through.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures, templates and standards to scale consistency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement tools, dashboards, automation and gen AI use cases to improve reporting and efficiency.
  • Track cross-team dependencies, decisions and action items, escalating risks and proposing options to keep delivery on track.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience using audit/GRC technologies.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Ability to synthesize complex info into executive-level communications.
  • Dashboards/metrics experience (Excel + Power BI or similar) to create/maintain reporting and status.
  • Process improvement/change experience (Lean/Six Sigma mindset).
  • Exposure to workflow tools + automation/gen AI and identifying practical use cases to continuously improve and optimize practices.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, experience, and location. The minimum salary for the Operations Management Sr. Consultant position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Operations Management Sr. Consultant position is $125,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
