Operations Management

About the role:

You will serve as the primary liaison for ACH operations, rules, guidelines, channel, client, and bank issues management. This role requires you to manage escalations, oversee daily operations, and coordinate support for initiatives and projects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction for both internal and external partners.

What you'll do:
  • Act as the primary liaison between Fiserv and banking requests/notifications of exceeding ACH return rate thresholds (among other non-compliance), managing escalations and ensuring effective solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily operations and performance of relationships with internal department leads.
  • Collaborate with internal business units such as Legal, Settlement Operations, Compliance, IT, and Fraud to support merchant processing on or converting from third-party platforms.
  • Oversee annual ACH audits and risk assessments, as well as management action plans and issues in Archer.
  • Leverage AI for automation of ACH reject notifications for clients.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers (AMs) and Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure timely communication and resolution of Company IDs, Company Names, ACH rejects, and funding holds. Work closely with technical and business operations teams to evaluate issues and drive resolutions.
  • Assist in researching and resolving ACH potential rule violations from ODFIs.
  • Support business continuity plan (BCP) functions for the team.


Experience you'll need to have:
  • High School graduate/GED
  • Proven experience in operations management or a related role, preferably within financial or banking services.
  • Good understanding of ACH, Fiserv's Settlement processes, Client issues management, platform knowledge, and research solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Fiserv channels: RSA/SMB/Clover Business Solutions, CMM, Enterprise.


Experience that will be great to have:
  • Experience with project and issues management and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools and software such as C360.


How you'll work:

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
