Schedule: Standard daytime hours; up to 40% travel
Base Salary: $75,000 - $100,000
*Compensation for this position includes annual salary, 15% short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.
What You'll Do Help Viking Electric strengthen operational excellence by implementing Standard Operating Procedures across the distribution network and partnering with branch teams to build consistent, effective processes.
You will... - Own the initial and ongoing education of Standard Operating Procedures for operations associates and managers through documentation, communication, and expectation setting.
- Lead projects that bring branch operations into alignment with Standard Operating Procedures through training, expectation setting, and change management.
- Create and contribute to knowledge articles and process collateral that support the ongoing education of operations associates.
- Collaborate with the Quality and Business Process team to use data to identify training opportunities at the branch, team, and individual level.
- Perform assigned duties in a professional and ethical manner while following Viking Electric policies, guidelines, and procedures, including safety, anti-harassment, and ethics expectations.
What You Bring Requirements: - 2+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume operations, logistics, or distribution environment.
- 2+ years of experience with RF warehouse management processes.
- Associate degree/two years of college plus two years of related work experience, or four years of related work experience, plus any additional required experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while building positive relationships with associates at all levels of the business.
- Detail-oriented analytical and investigation skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from research.
- Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP experience.
- Ability to train associates using a variety of techniques and learning styles.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Up to 40% travel required.
