Job Summary:The Operations Excellence Project Manager supports major operational improvement initiatives across the distribution center and branch locations by coordinating projects that enhance efficiency, accuracy, safety, and quality. This role manages timelines, organizes cross functional work, and ensures project deliverables are completed on schedule and aligned with operational goals. The position strengthens the organization by turning improvement ideas into structured, well executed projects that drive measurable results and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Project Management - 40%
  • Manage end-to-end project plans for operational improvement initiatives across DC and branch environments
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring tasks, timelines, and deliverables remain on track
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, and communication updates for stakeholders
  • Identify project risks and escalate issues with recommended solutions
  • Support the Operations Excellence Manager in prioritizing and sequencing project portfolios

Continuous Improvement Support - 25%
  • Assist in identifying inefficiencies and supporting Kaizen, Lean, and process-improvement activities
  • Gather and analyze operational data to uncover trends and improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align teams on process enhancements
  • Support implementation of standardized processes and Leader Standard Work
  • Conduct periodic 5S and process compliance checks

KPI & Performance Tracking - 20%
  • Support development and maintenance of operational KPI dashboards and reporting tools
  • Track project-related performance outcomes and validate improvement results
  • Help prepare weekly and monthly performance review materials
  • Monitor leading and lagging indicators to identify early warning signals

EWM/WM & Systems Support - 10%
  • Assist with documentation, testing, and rollout of SAP EWM/WM enhancements
  • Coordinate training sessions and user-adoption activities for system updates
  • Partner with IT and site teams to ensure process alignment with system functionality

Quality & Safety Support - 5%
  • Assist in quality investigations, documentation, and corrective-action tracking
  • Support safety initiatives, training coordination, and incident follow-up activities
  • Ensure alignment with ISO, customer, and internal quality and safety standards
