Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Manage iPhone Capital Expenditure planning and execution with global contract manufacturers and support the Operations Builds & Mass Production of iPhone NPI programs (iPhone 15 and future programs). Develop end-to-end automated Tableau data reporting tools to streamline the management of iPhone manufacturing assets across global contract manufacturers. Conduct data analysis to optimize the manufacturing process, including increasing utilization rate for used equipment to reduce the cost, analyze testing data (cycle time, re-test rate, yield percentage etc.) to recommend sampling equipment candidates, and simulate manufacturing capacity to better adapt the latest production schedule. Query large data volumes with advanced SQL queries and develop Tableau dashboards, facilitating the operation management decisions. Develop data models to automatically calculate the equipment forecasting based on complex manufacturing, engineering, and finance input data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware Engineer, Test Engineer, Capacity Planning, Global Supply Manager, Operations Program Manager, Finance) to influence and drive cost reduction initiatives. Manage iPhone global contract manufactures Capital Expenditure teams to closely tracking equipment readiness through different builds, calibrate equipment forecast and release spend approval to procure the iPhone manufacturing equipment in time with least spent. 20% international travel required. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,293 - $193,800/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Quantitative Management, Data Analysis, Program Management or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data, ensuring clean inputs with high performance and efficiency
  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes to ensure seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources into target systems
  • Developing advanced Tableau or Power BI dashboards to enable end-to-end visualized, automated reports
  • Developing scalable data architecture combining Tableau or Power BI and Python scripts that support business needs and data analytics initiatives, design comprehensive entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) to visualize data relationships and normalize data to reduce redundancy
  • Driving cost reduction initiatives and influence cross functional teams by calculating ROI
  • Utilizing Tableau or Excel and Power BI or modeling to comparison between actual spend vs budget and investment ROI analysis
