YOUR IMPACT
The Aero Operations Strategy & Pursuits team is seeking a full-time Operations Engineer Senior Staff to perform as a change agent for our team, Aero Operations, and our stakeholders. In this role, you will be instrumental in refining core governing processes, developing long range investment plans, and supporting a variety of strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities will include:
• Leading Commodity and Site Strategy development to generate alignment and identify investment opportunities across Operations
• Development of long-term investment plans for critical capabilities
• Support of Make-Buy & Make-Where analyses and Pursuit & Capture efforts
• Implementation of process standardization and business rhythm across the team
This highly impactful role will require you to build strong cross-functional relationships while managing expectations for a variety of stakeholders and senior leaders across Aero Operations. An ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a change management mindset among the team and a desire to exercise project management and leadership skills to organize and accelerate progress for key strategic initiatives. This role is open for 3 main sites:
• This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
• This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.
• This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience and combined education
• Demonstrated proficiency with change management and/or project management methodologies.
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization including senior and executive leadership
• Experience in technical problem solving within Operations
Desired skills
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Strategic Planning, or related fields
• Experience with strategy development, execution, and change management within Operations, Manufacturing, and/or Supply Chain
• Expertise in metallic and non-metallic machining operations, including FSDA in particular
• Broad knowledge of Operations responsibilities and processes for aircraft development, production, and sustainment
• Strong interest in developing and exercising a leadership skillset
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced aircraft development and production environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Active Secret Security Clearance

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
