We are searching for the best talent for Director of Operations in Jacksonville FL!
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, corporate quality standards, regulatory requirements, and agency regulations, integrating these into the daily business activities of the business unit.
- Ensuring supply of manufactured products in line with customer demand and compliance requirements as well as achieving agreed targets for output, OEE / productivity, lead-time, cost and inventory.
- Collaborating with other functions within the Vision Care E2E Supply Chain
- Supporting the execution of short-term and long-term business plans.
- Making timely decisions, balancing short-term needs with longer-term strategic impact.
- Appraising and evaluating the business results of areas of responsibility regularly.
- Development, mentoring and building a diverse pipeline; leads succession plan development for key positions.
- Ensuring robust partnering and working relationships with critical customers, vendors, and other services such as consultants, legal counsel, advertising agencies, regulatory agencies, and public and governmental bodies.
- Building an engaged workforce and establish a plan for continuous staff development.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering or a Business-related subject, Master’s preferred
- Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of senior management experience within a regulated multinational environment
- Process excellence green or black belt certification preferred including successful implementation of LEAN Manufacturing practices.
- Experience working in a cross-functional leadership environment.
- Experience in a relevant function other than production.
- Previous senior Operations Management Experience within a manufacturing environment
