Operations Controller Help shape the financial operations behind a rapidly scaling fintech platform that supports small businesses across the United States. Role Details Modality: Draper, UT (Hybrid - 4 days in-office, 1-day WFH) Schedule: Full-time Compensation: $130K-$150K, depending on experience. About Clicklease Clicklease is transforming how small businesses access the equipment they need to grow. Our technology platform uses data and automation to make equipment financing faster, simpler, and more accessible for business owners across the United States. About the Role The Operations Controller helps Clicklease maintain accurate, scalable, and compliant financial operations by overseeing operational accounting processes, financial reporting activities, and accounting controls across key business functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building operational rigor, improving accounting processes, partnering cross-functionally, and leading teams in a fast-paced fintech environment. The Team You'll join a collaborative Finance & Accounting organization focused on operational excellence, financial integrity, and scalable growth. The team partners closely with Operations, Risk, Treasury, and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and maintain strong financial controls. What You'll Do - Lead operational accounting activities related to monthly close, reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls - Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals while supporting performance, coaching, and prioritization - Oversee accounting operations for key business processes and Clicklease subsidiaries - Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Treasury, Risk, and leadership teams to improve financial accuracy and scalability - Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen controls, efficiency, and reporting quality - Support audit readiness, compliance activities, and adherence to accounting policies and procedures What You Have - 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, or controllership functions - 2+ years of experience leading or managing accounting teams - Experience managing month-end close processes, reconciliations, and operational accounting workflows - Experience analyzing financial data and identifying process improvement opportunities - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience - Experience working with ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet/reporting tools What Will Make You Stand Out - Experience in fintech, financial services, or lending environments - CPA certification or progress toward certification - Experience supporting multi-entity or subsidiary accounting operations - Experience improving accounting automation or operational workflows What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months - Build strong working relationships across Finance, Operations, and leadership teams - Improve accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of operational accounting processes - Identify and implement at least 1-2 meaningful process or control improvements - Successfully lead the team through month-end close cycles with strong audit readiness and reporting quality Why Join Clicklease Clicklease is transforming how small businesses access the equipment they need to grow.
