Job Title: Operation and Maintenance Manager (IN-ES-01)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Support SDC Director in the technical and commercial administration of O&M so as to comply with customer contract. Responsible for managing all day to day Operation and Maintenance activities of the APM System including, vehicle maintenance, guideway and fixed facilities maintenance, electrical and electronic maintenance and control center. Oversight and managing a shift of employees that include supervisors, professionals, engineers. Responsible for managing the day-to-day Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities of the Dallas APM System, operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
• Direct the activities, development and management of all shift supervisors to ensure that Dallas SDC is operated with Safety as the #1 Objective always and in accordance with all documented safety, maintenance and operating procedures and within assigned financial budgets.
• Implement and support a proactive setting for a culture of safety and quality.
• Promote other continuous improvement programs by cascading goals and objectives, improving employee relations with good communication, training, staffing and employee activities.
• Continually promote staff development through availability for mentoring and coaching staff at all levels of the organization.
• Develop, review, implement and administer plans and procedures for operations and maintenance activities to ensure that system performance is within contractual requirements.
• Accountable for development and implementation of mitigation plans should such performance trend to or fall below reliability and availability targets.
• Develop and maintain sound customer relationships.
• Provide management presence and SDC leadership on behalf of site management team.
• Provide On-Call coverage, via cell phone and in person, if necessary, when not physically in the SDC.
• Interface directly with Senior San Francisco Airport Commission and Bombardier Management as required.
• Provide performance reports to San Francisco Airport Commission and BT Mgt on routine basis.
• Develop objectives and evaluate employees' performance against objectives.
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
• AA/AS degree or equivalent required
Desirable:
BS/BA degree preferred in business or technical field.
Experience
Mandatory:
• Minimum 3 years experience of supervision or demonstrated leadership in a industrial/technical business environment
• At least 3 years experience working in an industrial environment
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
Desirable:
• Knowledgeable of the Automated People Mover and Power Distribution system
• Working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment
