Full Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support leadership to oversee all operations of OCIO.
  • Prepare and develop new strategies to increase the output for OCIO Operations.
  • Issue, review and track ETMS2 taskers for OCIO.
  • Work with Project Office Headquarters staff and OCIO leadership to support tasking and directives.
  • Responsible for updating/implementing policies or core working practices and should provide clear leadership and direction to personnel, as directed by management.
  • Manage office battle rhythm (meetings, agendas, tasking requirements, product development, and administrative documents)
  • Work with OCIO Leadership to synchronize and coordinate all Project Management Office initiatives.
  • Coordinate technical development with other Project/Product Offices, other government agencies, and contractors to promote information exchange.
  • Develop, write and staff briefings to officials/groups in the Project/Product Office.


Minimum Position requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Army regulations, acquisition policies and precedents, program goals and objectives, and work processes of the organizations supported, as well as relationships with other Program Offices within PEO AVN.
  • Army Acquisition experience preferred.
  • Program Management experience and extensive knowledge of contract actions and documents to include but not limited to Statements of Work and Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Experience with rotary wing aircraft operations, employment fundamentals, and how the Army operates.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively and well with others
  • Skilled in interpersonal and intergovernmental communications
  • Plan, organize, and direct the work of teams or task forces to accept recommendations, changes, or conflicts among team members
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Programs, to include, but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Preferred knowledge in Project, Windchill and other applicable applications/processes used in Acquisition Management.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum Education - BS in engineering, business, or operations research.
  • Minimum Years of Experience - 10 Years concentrated in functional responsibility area of the position to be filled.
  • Alternate Education and Experience - MS and 5 years; HS and 20 years concentrated in functional responsibility area of the position to be filled.


Travel: May require travel up to 25%.
