Job Description

SAIC is seeking an Operations Analyst Principal to support SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Analyst to provide comprehensive front-office support to our federal government client. This role serves as the central hub of administrative and operational activities for the program.

This position is uniquely structured as a leadership succession role. The successful candidate will initially manage daily front-office workflows, client communications, and executive schedules. Over time, they will shadow program leadership, take on increased operational ownership, and be groomed to eventually transition into the role of Deputy Director / Deputy Program Manager for the contract.

Job Duties to include:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming government client inquiries, managing front-office communications with professionalism.
  • Coordinate calendars, schedule high-level briefings, and manage logistics for program-wide meetings.
  • Draft, edit, and track executive correspondence, action items, meeting minutes, and weekly/monthly status reports.
  • Maintain and organize contract deliverables, onboarding schedules, and compliance documentation.
  • Work closely with the current Program Director to learn contract operations, financial budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze current front-office and program workflows to recommend and implement efficiency enhancements.
  • Gradually assume management over specific sub-tasks, ad-hoc client initiatives, and junior support staff.


Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly
  • 5 years of experience in government contracting, executive administration, or project support.
  • Working knowledge of IC principles and procedures and NRO program support experience
  • Experience working with customers to develop and implement processes and procedures for information sharing. This includes the capture of key information and dissemination to stakeholders.
  • Experience tactfully partnering with customers to help influence how things are done effectively.
  • Executive experience supporting customers helping coordinate activities, capturing accurate minutes and disseminating them, capturing, and tracking actions to completion, etc. The role may evolve to include more strategic support efforts.
  • Experience helping customers improve their methods of communication to ensure all parties remain informed of key information
  • Demonstration of tact and good judgment to ensure effective communication and interpersonal skills while helping influence the customer to meet their needs
  • Demonstrated desire to advance into corporate or program management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
