Position Overview

Far Ridgeline Engagements, a QinetiQ US company, provide Identity and Signature Management support to Special Operations Forces (SOF).

Responsibilities

The technician provides operational and threat awareness and familiarization briefings, collaborates and coordinates with DOD organizations and other government agencies in support of program’s strategic outreach objectives, requirements, and tasks. Performs identity assessments and provides mitigation recommendations. Conducts operational overwatch and develops mission-specific risk levels and reporting criteria for missions and personnel. Drafts, coordinates, and promulgates identity management plans. Coordinates with external organizations to enhance support to the customer by sharing and gathering current information on situations, intelligence cyber threats, lessons learned, emerging technology, data mapping, and other factors affecting ubiquitous technical surveillance threat mitigation. Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current and future SOF mission requirements to identify the best current and emerging resources regarding technology. Conduct adversarial threat analysis to evaluate and assess risks to operations and personnel.  Familiar with Army human resources systems and processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Education or experience in lieu of education: Associate degree; or 4 years of military service; or 4 years of comparable civilian sector work experience
  • Military/Government Training: Advanced Technicians Course, or Identity and Signature Management Training Course, or Foundations of Sensitive Support.
  • Experience: SOF sensitive activities, Open Source intelligence or comparable experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Military/government training: Open Source Intelligence Training
  • Experience:
  • 2 yearsexperience as an operations analyst in direct support of DOD operations providing analytic assessments and recommended mitigations strategies for constructs, organizations, and assets.
  • 1 yearsexperience in performing identity assessment
  • 2 yearsexperience providing due diligence support for summits, review boards, requests, and incident reports
  • 2 yearsexperience in developing mitigation strategies to remediate vulnerabilities
  • 3 yearsexperience in briefing and directly supporting O-6 level officers and civilian equivalents
  • 1 year of experience supporting/performing activities in the cyber domain
  • 4 years of SOF experience
  • 4 years of experience in Army Human resources Management systems
Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
