Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented
Operations Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is focused on
operational accounting, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting inventory and production-related processes.
In this position, you will work closely with both accounting and production teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment between operational activity and financial data. You'll play a key role in month-end close, maintaining financial records, and providing insight into how production and inventory impact overall financial performance.

Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including inventory-related accounts
- Assist with inventory processes, including cycle counts and adjustments
- Analyze financial data and identify variances or discrepancies
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies
- Work with production and operations teams to understand financial impacts of manufacturing activity
- Assist with reporting tied to inventory, production, and operational metrics
- Perform other accounting-related duties and projects as needed
Required Experience / Skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Exposure to inventory or production-related accounting processes
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles (US GAAP)
- Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with ERP systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations and production teams
Nice-to-Haves - Experience in manufacturing, medical device, or industrial environments
- Exposure to inventory accounting or variance analysis
- Experience supporting audits
- Familiarity with process improvements or operational reporting
Education - Bachelor of Science in Accounting (required)
Pay & Benefits Summary - Salary: $80,000 - $85,000/year
- 3 weeks PTO (accrued immediately, usable after 90 days)
