This hybrid role currently requires on-site presence approximately one day per week, with additional in-person attendance as needed based on meetings, project activities, and business needs.Job SummaryServes as a facilitative lead and proactive coach of improvement activities through the application of a wide range of needed expertise. Builds relationships with leaders at all levels of the region, including clinicians, front-line care teams, and other stakeholders to assess and enhance systems to produce optimal organizational process outcomes. Leveraging their expertise, relationships, and data (both qualitative and quantitative), this role supports the planning, execution and monitoring of processes and systems to translate goals into tactical action plans.
Essential Functions- Oversees small to medium sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts. These projects may be a portion or phase of a larger project or program.
- Drives progress of the project including overseeing the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Manages work plan, scope and aids in assessment of resource requirements in order to achieve desired outcomes and directs re-engineering efforts. Ensure that the project is achieving the expected business outcomes. Analyzes and documents, processes, procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.
- Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a consultant to key stakeholders/business partners / executive level leadership in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of significant issues and develops recommendation for leadership consideration. Competent to work all phases of the project with executive level leadership.
- Provides guidance, direction and training to less experienced Specialists, acts as a mentor to others.
- Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5 years of related experience
- Previous leadership/management/project management experience
Preferred
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Relevant industry standard certification in Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management, Healthcare Management Engineering or equivalent experience
