Full Job Description
GXM is seeking an Operational Test Analyst to join our team to support advanced defense and space-related mission programs focused on Command and Control (C2), mission systems integration, operational readiness, and capability delivery.

The selected candidate will support mission-focused assessment activities, operational evaluations, mission rehearsals, and readiness events to ensure delivered capabilities effectively support operational objectives. The Operational Test Analyst will work closely with operators, mission stakeholders, engineers, trainers, and program leadership to evaluate mission performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support operational decision-making.

This role requires expertise in operational analysis, mission assessment, exercise support, and readiness evaluation within complex defense and space environments.

This role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Hybrid flexibility may be available over time based on mission requirements, program execution needs, and achievement of objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Support mission evaluation activities to assess operational effectiveness, mission performance, and achievement of mission objectives.
  • Develop, coordinate, and analyze after-action reports, observations, lessons learned, and performance assessments resulting from exercises, demonstrations, and operational events.
  • Coordinate training scenarios and mission-focused activities supporting readiness objectives and operational capability validation.
  • Support planning and execution of mission rehearsals, operational demonstrations, and readiness events.
  • Collect, analyze, and assess operational data, observations, and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operators, mission stakeholders, trainers, and engineering teams to evaluate mission outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support development of evaluation criteria, assessment methodologies, and operational performance measures.
  • Participate in operational exercises, demonstrations, and readiness events to document observations and assess mission effectiveness.
  • Prepare operational assessments, briefing materials, and recommendation packages for Government and program leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by incorporating lessons learned into future mission events, training activities, and operational planning.


Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Military Studies, Information Systems, Program Management, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting operational analysis, mission assessments, exercises, readiness activities, or operational testing efforts.
  • Experience developing after-action reports, operational assessments, or lessons learned documentation.
  • Experience supporting exercises, demonstrations, mission rehearsals, or operational readiness activities.
  • Strong analytical, communication, briefing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to assess mission performance and translate observations into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working within complex mission environments involving multiple stakeholders and operational objectives.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting defense, space, intelligence, or multi-domain operational environments.
  • Familiarity with Command and Control (C2) systems, mission operations, or operational planning activities.
  • Experience supporting Combatant Commands, operational exercises, readiness events, or mission assessments.
  • Prior military service or experience supporting military operations preferred.

$90,000 - $150,000 salary + annual bonus eligibility + medical/dental/vision/STD/LTD/Life + 401(k) + PTO
