A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Operational Excellence & PMO, you play a key role in shaping and continuously improving how projects are governed, executed, and supported across a distributed Substation portfolio. You work on internal transformation and process optimization initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance project management standards and operational excellence. Your day typically involves analyzing processes, aligning with stakeholders across regions, and translating complex challenges into structured, pragmatic improvements that enable scalable and high-quality project execution.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Analyze end-to-end project management processes, governance structures, and interfaces to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Drive internal transformation and process optimization initiatives, including the identification and implementation of AI-enabled solutions
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve project management standards, templates, guidelines, and best practices
  • Facilitate governance forums, reviews, and alignment meetings between global and regional organizations
  • Prepare management-ready analyses, reports, and decision materials to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Lead implementation and change management activities for new standards, ensuring effective adoption across stakeholders

What You Bring
  • University degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field with 3+yrs experience in project management, PMO, process improvement, or internal consulting in a complex, international environment
  • Strong experience in process optimization, project governance, and project lifecycle management
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working across different organizational levels and regions
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to structure complex topics and drive actionable solutions
  • Experience in change management and implementation of new processes, standards, and methodologies
  • Located in or around Raleigh, NC or willingness to relocate to the Raleigh, NC area preferred.
