Operating Room Technician - Labor and Delivery - Full Time - Day Shift

Join our high-profile team, and build on our reputation for excellence as you provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of surgical procedures (e.g., bariatric, robotic, and ENT). You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. This is a full time, day shift position covering the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm with rotating weekends at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital located in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.

Preferred Criteria
  • Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting


Required Criteria
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technlogist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - Certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Must supply exam date prior to start of employment and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire
  • Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting
  • High school diploma or GED

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$41.55-$50.65/Hourly
