Full Job Description
Ontario Territory Sales Manager

Northern Cables Incorporated is seeking an experienced and motivated Ontario Territory Sales Manager based in, or close to the GTA to represent and promote our Canadian-manufactured electrical cable products throughout the province.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with electrical distributors, developing new business opportunities, and increasing Northern Cables' presence across the Ontario market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical distributors at both corporate and branch levels.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts and sales volumes.
  • Identify and develop new accounts and market opportunities.
  • Conduct regular customer and branch visits throughout Ontario.
  • Call on electrical contractors, engineers, OEMs, end users, and other industry stakeholders as required.
  • Attend customer events, trade shows, training sessions, and industry functions in Canada and the United States.
  • Provide regular reporting on customer activity, competitive developments, market conditions, and sales opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly virtual sales meetings and quarterly meetings at our Brockville office.
  • Work closely with Northern Cables' Atlantic and Western Territory Managers to support national accounts and coast-to-coast customer relationships.
  • Assist with product launches, quotations, sales programs, and other sales initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in electrical distribution, manufacturing, construction products, or industrial sales is preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, organization, and account-management skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing a large geographic territory independently.
  • Able to travel regularly throughout Ontario, with occasional travel elsewhere in Canada and the United States.
  • Current Passport required with no restrictions to travel to the United States.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.

Salary:

$100,000K to $130,000K per year
